Javelin throw – Impossible further than 100 meters.
In 1984, the representative of the German Democratic Republic, Uwe Hohn, broke the previous world record in the javelin throw. Achieving a fantastic result: 104.8 meters. Because he threatened the same people on the treadmill and the spectators sitting nearby.
The World Athletics Association has decided to accelerate the previously planned changes. In the javelins used since 1986, the center of gravity was shifted so that no one could exceed the magic hundred. The world record with “new” equipment has been 98.48 meters since 1996.
