Tarragon mugwort – Artemisia dracunculus
Tarragon mugwort – Artemisia dracunculus – Better known as tarragon.
It is one of the less popular herbs in our kitchen. But in other parts of the world, such as in France, it is very highly valued for its bitter, astringent taste with a sharp note, and traces of anise. The French add tarragon to practically everything – soups, sauces, mustard or salads.
