Albert Einstein – In 14. 03. 1879. Was born German – Jewish physicist Albert Einstein,
creator the theory of relativity, which apparently seems to be devoid of applications.

Maria Curie-Sklodowska – Polish PhD in physics

was the first woman to receive a PhD in physics and the Nobel Prize.
Otto Hahn – German physical chemist

Albert Schweitzer – French theologian, philosopher, physician

In 1912 he resigned from the post of associate professor of theology at the University of Strasbourg.
A year later, in Lambarene (Gabon today) founded a hospital where he treated residents and

the Nobel Prize. He defined thermodynamics, heat radiation, energy dispersion,
optics, relativity and quantum theory.
Guglielmo Marconi – Italian inventor of radio
Guglielmo Marconi – Italian inventor of radio – 25.04.1874 born Italian physicist
G. Marconi. He works on the construction of the radio. In 1897.
He received a patent for “The transmission of electrical signals“ and in 1901.
Conducted a radio transmission across the Atlantic. In 1909. together with Karl Braun,
he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for the development of wireless telegraphy.
Pierre Curie – French physicist
Pierre Curie – French physicist – In 05.15.1859 was born French physicist Pierre Curie,
husband of Maria Curie-Sklodowska. He studied crystals and radioactivity.
He found with his wife elements radium and polonium. The first experience of
the use of radium in the fight against cancer conducted on himself.
In 1903 he received the Nobel Prize.
Alexander Fleming – Discoverer of penicillin
