Two young scientists from Cambridge, the American James Watson (born 1923) and Briton Francis Crick (1916-2004) on the basis of data obtained by Rosalind Franklin (1920-1958) and Maurice Wilkins (1916-2004) We managed to discover the characteristic double helix of DNA.
