QWERTY Keyboard – Roots in a typewriter

QWERTY Keyboard – Today’s keyboards have their roots in typewriters. They take the key layout, which we call QWERTY, according to the order of the keys in the first row from the left. The first people to use machines had a big problem. The hammer often jammed when typing too fast. Therefore, there has been a fundamental change. The most frequently used letters of the English alphabet are placed as far apart as possible. At the same time, an arrangement was chosen that would not delay the writer. The QWERTY system was created in the years 1873-1876.
