Commodore – The company was founded in 1954 by a soldier Jack Tramiel. Initially, it dealt with the repair of typewriters. Later started to produce their own typewriters and calculators. In 1980, released the first computer under the name MicroPET, later VIC20. In the days of the greatest splendor, up to 9,000 units were sold daily. It was the first color computer that changed the general view of this technology. Among the most successful models is Commodore – C64, which was the best-selling personal computer of all time. About 25 million copies were sold in total. The company collapsed on April 29, 1994.
